Would you like to be a part
of the spirit of St.
Augustine's ?...
The spirit that made it possible for people of color to have their own place
of worship...
The spirit that made it possible for slaves
as well as freemen
to be publicly recognized as God's children...
The spirit that, today, unites people of
all races in God's love and service?
St. Augustine's many ministries care for youth, the elderly, the sick, and the suffering.
The church is currently playing a pivotal role in Hurricane Katrina
relief, joining with
Second
Harvest and other organizations to offer food, clothing and shelter
to the dispossesd. St. Augustine is also matching those in need
with available legal, medical,
and FEMA assistance
and with volunteer
workman and cleanup crews.
Help is open to everyone regardless of race or belief.
Take part in history!
Take part in that spirit!
